Envelope Christmas Cushions

Envelope Christmas Cushions I’ve finally finished my cushions! I’m so pleased to be saying that as I started them ages ago; I made two and then got stuck into a number of other projects which put these beauties on hold.

These are the first cushions I have ever made and I have to say I didn’t mess them up once, which for me is a first!

As you have probably seen, I’ve used this material for a number of ¬†Christmas projects now, I just love it. See what else I have created with this fabric in my 5 ways with 1 fabric post.

I decided to add a button as I wanted the cushion quite full looking. I had these buttons already and they work really well with the pattern.

This pretty button with a mitten is so cute; it reminds me of a pair of mittens I had when I was a child, attached to string through my coat.

This lovely heart shaped button also goes really well and adds intrigue with it’s shape.

I looked at lots of tutorials and decided to use this fantastic¬†YouTube tutorial from Melanie Ham. Her tutorial is really easy to follow and as I said, I didn’t make any mistakes. You can view Melanie’s tutorial here.
